The Bodimind Centre is an innovative enterprise offering Pilates mat and studio classes with highly trained registered instructors, professional psychotherapy with a ten year experienced therapist, as well as two highly qualified massage therapists.

Meet the team:

Arwen McCutcheon - Founder and Director:

Pilates:
Level 3 (Rehabilitation) APMA trained.
Member of Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) (Level 3).
Pilates mat and studio instructor for over 10 years and has been in private practice for 4 years.
Arwen supervises students in the PAA international approach to Pilates.

Psychotherapy/counselling:
B.App.Sci., (Health Ed) Canberra Uni
M.App.Sci., (Social Ecology (Psychology)) University of Western Sydney
Grad. Dip. (Counselling), Grad. Dip., (Movement Therapy) Tas. Uni.
Registered member of PACFA, PCA (Tas) and PAA.
Training with Michael Carroll in Supervision completed in Aug. 2007.
Arwen has worked with the Royal Hobart Hospital in grief counselling, in Kalgoolie providing relationship counselling, and has recently completed 8 years in the community sector working with trauma, abuse, addictive behaviours, families and relationships.

Arwen’s approach is unique as she can incorporate other modalities such as movement therapy, (understanding of the moving body) art therapy, emotional expression. Sessions run for approximately 1hour, depending on the needs of the client.

Arwen also specialises in helping both male and female Baby Boomers keep fit and healthy.

Maha holds a certificate in Chinese massage and Swedish massage

Erin Sutherland:
Dip. Remedial Massage

Scott Avon Willington:

Massage (Diploma of Remedial Massage)
Scott also holds a Bachelor of Nursing
