Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!


The year has flown by and we at the bodimind centre are looking forward to yet another very busy and exciting year in 2011. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2011.

What Is Pilates and How Will It Help?

The Pilates method works to develop muscle and tone to improve strength and alignment throughout your body.

Pilates movements will transform the way your body feels, performs and looks allowing you to enjoy daily activities and sports with greater efficiency and reduced chance of injury. It is a physical conditioning and spinal alignment technique which also increases mental awareness.

Exercises are performed gently with attention to breath and precision.  Tension is released, relaxation enhanced and muscles are lengthened.

Trusted and recommended by physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and doctors, Pilates can be integrated into rehabilitative exercise designed to speed recovery from injury.  

And best of all, Pilates is suitable for all ages and levels of ability!

Welcome Natarlya - Our New Pilates Instructor!

We welcome Natarlya Morgan to the bodimind centre Pilates team.  She is Amongst the first Polestar Pilates Education trainee’s in Hobart.

Natarlya has been with the Bodimind Centre for some time now and from an enjoyment of personal Pilates she has graduated to training and is now an asset of the bodimind centre.  At the moment she is enjoying teaching mat classes and wants to do as many as possible.

Beginners Classes:
- Tuesdays: 6 - 7pm
- Wednesdays: 6 - 7pm, 7 - 8pm
Internediate Classes:
- Mondays 6:15 -7:15pm
